Issue:

 

URL address using RTSP Protocol returns “Page Cannot Be Displayed” browser error.

 

Solution:

 

Real Player is not assigned to Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP).

 

 

Complete the following configuration changes to Real Player.

 

  1. Open Real Player

 

  1. From the Tools menu select Preferences

 

  1. Highlight Media Types from the Category Menu

 

 

  1. Select the Advanced button

 

  1. From the Media Types window scroll down to locate Other Media heading

 

  1. Select (add checkmark in box) Real-Time Streaming Protocol

 

  1. Select OK to close Media Types Box

 

  1. Select OK to close Preferences Box

 

  1. Close Real Player

 

Restart browser, all links using RTSP Protocol will open Real Player and display media file.
